Begin the Season with a Taunt
I have posted a new poll asking you to predict this season's last-place finisher. This is intended to be a trigger for an avalanche of trash talk. The poll doesn't note who voted for whom, but feel free to provide that information here. I haven't made my choice yet, but there are a few good candidates for "person least likely to pose a threat to my continued supremacy." Hopefully a few rivalries will spring out of this preseason exercise and we'll be ready for meaningful action next week. Remember: talking smack after results start to come in is easy, but talking smack before any basis for doing so exists is the sign of a true genius.

All right, I've made my choice. Jerry's had a remarkable run of luck over the past few years, so I'm predicting a Kurt Warner-esque fall from grace. I'm tired of his quiet sportsmanship and careful selections. It's time for this masquerade to end. Taking the lead in championships won will be all the sweeter when Jerry brings up the rear of the standings. He may not have a cellar in his new house in Williamsburg, but he'd better get used to the one in the KFFL.
